SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Small Groups exist – to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. They help a LHBC feel like home.

So no matter where you’re at in your relationship with God or your stage of life, there is a Small Group for you! If you have any questions concerning Small Groups, Ask us on Sunday.

SMALL GROUP FAQ'S

WHAT HAPPENS AT A SMALL GROUP?

Small Groups are small groups of people who meet together on a regular basis. They are drawn together by common interests, a specific topic or activity or a particular demographic. In a Small Group, you’ll meet people who live near you, are in the same stage of life as you or have similar interests. Whether you are reading through a Bible Study together, diving deeper into the weekend messages, serving in one of our local outreach opportunities or sharing a common interest, our Small Groups are places where community is built and lives are changed.

HOW OFTEN DOES A SMALL GROUP MEET?

Groups mostly meet on Sundays and sometimes throughout the week. Most choose to meet every week, others meet bi-weekly or some even once a month.

WHERE DO SMALL GROUPS MEET?

Groups meet in our church, homes, restaurants, offices and coffee shops all across Madison County. Check with your group for more info.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL SMALL GROUP STAY TOGETHER?

Our Small Groups commit to meeting together for at least one semester. At the end of each semester the group leaders and participants decide what’s next for their group. We have groups that have been meeting together and growing in numbers for years and we also have groups that meet for one semester and then multiply to start new groups.
