ABOUT LIGHTHOUSE

OUR VISION

We exist to be a biblical community where the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives, renews the city, and impacts the world.

OUR MISSION

We live to know God and make Him known.

OUR GOAL

"Reaching one heart, one home with the Good News of Jesus Christ..."

OUR HISTORY

Lighthouse Baptist Church began in 1995 with an emphasis on mission and evangelism.  As you continue to investigate the foundation of LHBC you will notice that this emphasis is interwoven into all that we do. Our goal is for each member to have the opportunity to participate in a mission endeavor, either by being involved in one of our local mission opportunities or by participating in a mission adventure. The heart beat of LHBC is the opportunity to be involved in missions. The life-blood of the church is the presentation of the gospel of Christ to individuals not only by our life, but also with our lips. It is the goal for each member to be able to share with individuals the plan of salvation whether at home or on the job.

OUR CHURCH COVENANT

The Church Covenant details our relationship together and has with it a general foundation of belief. We have chosen to be a Southern Baptist church. Our doctrinal statements are from the most recent Baptist Faith and Message. Although we adhere to the doctrinal statements of the Baptist Faith and Message, our ultimate authority is the Holy Scriptures. Our desire is to grow in the understanding and application of the Word of God. Therefore, we put the highest priority on the teaching and learning of the Scriptures.
